In accordance with the Shanghai Municipality regulations regarding the prevention and control of COVID-19 (Decree[2021]251), we regret to inform you that the 9th China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) scheduled on 20–22 March 2022 cannot take place in the intended timeframe. The Fair is postponed to 22 to 24 July 2022 at our usual venue, the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this newdevelopment may bring you. The organising team is now handling all the proceedings derived from this new situation in the best interest of our exhibitors and visitors.
CCBF is looking forward to return to its traditional autumnal schedule as early as November 2023, which will mark the tenth anniversary of the Fair. Starting from today, we are working hard on making this event an incredible opportunity for the global children’s publishing community to connect with the Chinese market. CCBF is approved by Shanghai Press & Publication Administration, organised by Shanghai Xinhua Distribution Group Co., Ltd., China Education Publishing & Media Group Ltd., and China Universal Press & Publication Co., Ltd., co-organised by Ronbo BolognaFiere Shanghai Ltd., partnered with BolognaFiere S.p.A. and Bologna Children’s BookFair. It is the only fair fully dedicated to books and specific contents for children aged from 0 to 16 in Asia Pacific.
Before the festivities begin, we are looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks at the next Bologna Children’s Book Fair, which will be held on 21-24 March 2022. We are waiting for you at our booth (Hall 26 B84) to discover the latest children’s titles from China.
