The Cosmetic Industry Restarts from OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna

The cosmetic industry is gathering its representatives in Bologna for a first, fundamental revamping of its activities: from 9 th to 13 th September, OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the first physical meeting for the sector, offers the opportunity to rebuild commercial relationships and analyze the changes that beauty stakeholders are facing.

There are more than 300 brands participating, with exhibiting companies coming from 20 countries: China, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Nepal, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Even though current restrictions make it difficult for global commercial activities to restart before 2022, OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has aroused interest among national and international operators: over 20 countries are represented by registered attendees on the event website. A sign of confidence and optimism, which shows that the sector is ready to restart a gradual process of normalizing the relations between supply and demand.

THE EXHIBITION

OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna gathers all industry divisions, with a more essential exhibiting format. The entrances and the exhibition areas are differentiated in order to optimize the business synergies between compatible product segments: retail, mass-market and supply chain on one side, and professional product on the other, in full compliance with the national health and safety regulations.

On Thursday 9 th and Friday 10 th September OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna welcomes market leaders of the supply chain in pavilion 31, including contract manufacturers and formulation and packaging suppliers, all interested in presenting new projects to indie brands and finished product brands. On the same days, inside pavilion 32 the retail sector will be housed, with the most multichannel-oriented brands presenting their innovative solutions for consumer communication and avant-garde on- and offline combinations. Inside pavilion 25, organized in collaboration with SANA, an international exhibition of organic and natural products, the most important representatives of the green & organic beauty are showcasing from Thursday 9 th to Sunday 12 th September.

The professional channel gathers in Bologna on Saturday 11 th , Sunday 12 th and Monday 13 th , with product and service companies focused on beauty salon & spa, nail, hair and accessories sectors.

To top up the offering, there is a dense agenda with numerous appointments providing insights on current topics defining the future evolution of the cosmetic industry.

THE CONJUNCTION WITH SANA AND COSMOFARMA

OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna takes place at the same time of SANA, international exhibition of organic and natural products, and COSMOFARMA EXHIBITION, the leading event for the Health Care and Beauty Care sectors and all pharmacy-related services, ensuring the interaction between suppliers, pharmacies, drug stores, herbalists, mass market, and retailers representing different distribution channels.

The cosmetic industry is animated by a strong optimism: after having demonstrated to be able to withstand the unpredictable scenario of the recent months, entrepreneurs and sector’s operators are now ready to meet the market’s requirements with innovations, quality and high-level competence.
